Over the past two years, SATA has built a cross-regional network to explore the role of art and technology in Asian societies. Our four-day “Artist–Curator Meetup” and “Summer School” invited speakers and participants to share their research interests and artistic practices. We discussed research methods, anthropology, economics, and urban transformation. The groups also visited the four local traditional shops and spoke closely with the shop owners to understand their daily operations and challenges.

SATA Fest: “Between the Between” will feature several zones, including installations and artworks by local and overseas artists, and a Research and Development area. Visitors will be able to see both the artworks and the creative process, offering new perspectives on the future of traditional businesses, arts and technology.

過去兩年，SATA 建立跨地域的對話網絡，討論藝術與科技在亞洲社會中的角色。期間，我們舉辦了四天「藝術家－策展人交流會」及「夏季學院」，分享各自的研究興趣與藝術實踐，又討論研究方法、人類學、經濟學及城市轉型等議題。團隊亦走訪四間本地傳統小店，與店主深入交流，理解其日常營運模式及在科技變遷下的處境。

下月舉行的媒體藝術展覽 SATA Fest：「間之間」設多個展區，包括四組本地藝術家的互動裝置及作品、海外藝術家作品專區、研究及發展區，讓觀眾看見作品的成果及研發過程，為城市與商業的未來帶來新的理解與視角。
