The Mentor Toolkit is a practical and conceptual guide for mentees in the SATA Summer School Programme. It outlines the programme’s six sessions, which combine lectures and tutorials, and demonstrates its pedagogy through examples drawn directly from the mentor’s own research practice. The toolkit provides a clear framework for the mentorship process by bringing together the mentor’s background, teaching philosophy, workshop instructions, reflections on outcomes, and examples of how mentees can develop their final projects.
